Summertime And The Living Is Easy

USA
Wellsville, UT

Something we haven't been able to do for a really long time!!

Our first item of business was doctor appointments.  We had all of them lined up for the first week in our beloved Cache Valley.

Next was a fun filled few days in Preston with our besties, the Jeppsens, floating the Oneida River.  As it turns out, we got the stomach flu and barfed our brains out all night and left first thing in the morning.  Booo...  The good news is, it didn't last too long.

One happy boy!!

Gluten free pizza!!!  Delicious!

Day 2...

Sunday we were able to go to church in Wellsville with all our long lost friends!  It felt so good to be back "home".

Here is my beautiful girl!  I have missed more than I knew!  Thanks to the Jacobsens for taking such good care of her!!

The next week was spent in Salt Lake City with our parents.  We went to movies and shopping with grandma and grandpa Holmgren.

Ethan is teaching grandma Holmgren to use Instagram...

We spent most of our time with grandma and grandpa Jeppson helping them get ready to leave on their mission to Hawaii, we were able to go out to eat at lots of yummy places though!

Shopping.

Grandma Bateman!

These are 4 of the greatest girls EVER!!  I would be lost without them!

After our time in SLC, we went down to Richfield to spend some time with the Woolsey clan where we went four-wheeling, floating in the canal, and just hangin'.  It is always fun at Holly's!

We headed back up to Cache Valley for follow up doctor appointments and then off to Island Park for the Holmgren reunion.  We had a blast staying in a cabin, going to Yellowstone, playing in Firehole, playing board games, racquetball, bike riding, relaxing, and just hangin' with my homeies (haha, get it?  Holmgrens, homies...)

Wait for it...  wait for it...

I remember this being so much more amazing as a kid.

Ethan and Marcus

Bwahahaha.  What are they all looking at?

Oh!  This beautiful waterfall.

Can you tell Bracken's job is outdoors?  It may not look like it but, he really is very excited about getting into this cold water.

Cutest picture of the entire event.

We were pretty proud of ourselves for making it to this point so, I asked a stranger to take our picture.

We spent a few more days in Cache Valley going to Bear Lake, visiting friends, and Seth even got to go to scout camp with grandpa Jeppson.  Then headed North to Boise for the famous Jeppson Cousin Camp.  After 4 weeks of moving all around the state, the boys and I were pretty tired of living out of a suitcase and the car.  The best part of Cousin Camp was that Chris flew in to the Boise airport and we got to see him for two whole days before the boys and I flew back to Moscow, leaving Chris to spend the next few weeks in DC doing work stuff (with a little bit of playing in there too).

These boys were suppose to be taking a picture of me and Tiff.  Instead, they were taking selfies...

This is the picture they were suppose to be taking.

Over all, it was a fabulous experience for us!  We saw movies at an actual theater, we understood others and others understood us, ate most of the food we have been longing for and most importantly, we saw so many of the people we have been missing!
