It doesn't get any holier than this place here in Russia.  The monastery was founded in 1340 by the country's most revered saint, St. Sergius of Radonezh.  Since the 14th century, pilgrims have been journeying to this place to pay homage to him.  The Tinity Monastery of St. Sergius remains one of the most important spiritual sites in Russia.
