Dubai

I was able to take a much needed girls' trip to Dubai! Here are a few of my favorite things we did.

We went four-wheeling in the desert and ended up at this camp. This is a replica of what a family homestead might be like.

And ate yummy food!

A Day on the Palm

We spent the morning at the spa getting massages etc and then the afternoon at the beach.

Fantastic break from Moscow life! Loved having girl time and sunshine! It was the best medicine ever!

During the winter months, many of the parks freeze their walk ways and you can ice skate all around the park. They have little food stands and fires to warm yourself. It is so much fun! We were able to see the fireworks from Red Square at midnight. They also broadcast Putin's New Year's address on a giant screen. All in all, it was a fun night!

The power went out and so we built Legos by candle light.

GUM (Government Universal Store)

This is pronounced Gewm. It is a government owned mall on Red Square. It doesn't matter what day of the year it is, it is always decorated super cool.
